- Description: This newer blue-bottom Marlow-Hunter 40 has a standard two-suite layout providing exceptional privacy for two couples, but can easily sleep 7 utilizing the settee area. Each separate stateroom has its own private head and shower, at opposite ends of the boat. With 6'6" of headroom below and a 13' beam, this beauty is great for family or entertaining. She has only been sailed on the fresh waters of Lake Michigan. It has an new (2015)Kevlar complete deck swapped in, with a non-skid surface. I've added a removable bowsprit and beautiful Doyle spinnaker. I've also added a full Bimini, a boom-vang, inverter, and iPad for the Nav Station. Walk-through transom becomes a swim platform. She has been particularly well-maintained, clean, and well-cared for. She has a hard chine and moves quickly through the water, and can be single-handed from the cockpit. She has always been placed inside or wrapped during the winter months. She is a joy to sail. We are selling her in order to downsize.
