Melges International 67

  • Beam: 6
  • Draft: 3.6"
  • Description: I have had this Star for about 10 years. It is in good shape but does have some wear. It is sail/race ready I am currently doing some minor gel coat repair of scratches and small imperfections. Not sure how far I will go. I have two trailer for it, an aluminum road trailer with a storage box and a ramp launch trailer. I have set a small price but as I am working on it the further along I get the price may increase a little. The boat comes with 3 sets of sails and a lot of mist gear. I have up to 5 other sets of sails all like new that can also be purchased. The final price will be determined by which or both trailers you might want, what other gear you want and how far along I am on upgrades. It has served me well both in one design racing and handicap racing. If you want to run at the front of the pack with a very minimal investment, this would be a good boat for that. You can visit the International Star website if you are unfamiliar with it. It was an Olympic class for many many years and is still a thoroughbred in the water. I have learn more about sail trim and performance from this boat that all of the others I have ever sailed. But it is not a good choice for a newbie, more suited for an intermediate or advanced sailor. I am working on getting some photo's, just need a bit of good weather and time. Feel free to e-mail any questions. Thanks for looking and what ever boat you buy, get out there.
  • Equipment: Can have 1 or two trailers, price will vary. 3 sets of sails, 2 average, one pretty crisp. I have 3 sets of almost new, very crisp, near perfect and measure stamped. Will try to have new photo's soon, I have some old one's and some with it racing but want to post current ones to be fair.
