- The reason it is for sale is simple. I have twin 12 year old daughters and a wife that are not into sailing, and I just cannot justify having this "pro: team worthy" Melges 24 sitting around unused as much as it is. When I bought this from Alan, he gave me everything that he had brought for the 2013 Worlds. So when I say this boat is "Pro Race Team Ready," I mean it. There is double of almost everything, and this boat was Alan Field's second Melges ordered from Zenda, so it was essentially a special order for a pro. The boat comes with 3 North Mains, 4 North Jibs, and 3 Ullman AP kites. The sails used in the 2013 Worlds were brand new, and the other sails have minimal use.
- Well: kept Catalina 22. New 8 HP outboard. V berth, pedestal table port=side that converts into a berth and a full starboard settee with storage. Swing keel. Marine survey available on request. Three sails and new cushions and covers. Looking for a quick sail for health reasons.
