• Description: The Ted Brewer and Jack Corey designed Morgans, including the Morgan 323, are preferred designs. They are very heavily (11,000 pounds), well built and have classic lines.She has a displacement to length ratio of approximately 316 and built with a solid fiberglass hull. She has a 11.6 foot beam, making her very roomy and comfortable below deck. She has 4 foot draft with 4000 pound lead internal ballast. No keel bolts to worry about. There are no flat areas on the underside of the hull so the boat never pounds. She gracefully parts the water in heavy seas and leaves no wake astern. The rudder is skeg hung and well protected as is the propellor. She is capable of sailing any sea with supreme authority. She is very sea kindly in a blow, handles more weather gracefully, and yet she is responsive in light air. The Morgan 323 is for the serious cruising sailor(s) who appreciates performance, seaworthiness, comfort and craftsmanship in their yacht. This Morgan 323 has lots of extras. She is well maintained. She is looking for new owner(s). Her owner is going ashore to cruise for awhile.
