Morgan Out 51 description- Beautiful X: 41. She suits perfectly for racing and cruising at high average speeds whilst maintaining the most comfort possible. Exellent sailing performance in light and haevy conditions with great ship stability. I have maintained the boat very carefullly, did some repairs and replacements and made her also suitable for shorthanded sailing. New plotter and sails installed in 2015. The log stands at 6100 nm.
- Swift Marine, Wrightsville Beach, went out of business in late 70's. This boat was assembled and rigged(with modern rigging: Harken traveler, lazy jacks, reefing, Pro Furl jib, etc.)in 1996. Boat was pulled this winter and repainted. Kept on boat lift. THIS IS A FAST BOAT. But safe. Never been flipped. It is featured in Multihulls Mag in late 70's. Designed by Ed Dopler, Cal.
- This well maintained, desirable A: layout, with many upgrades. A classic by designer Henry Mohrschladt, wine glass shape, cutaway forefoot on the long keel provide protection and easy maneuvering. There is a complete SECOND engine and transmission in running order, as well as a third engine which may be used for parts! This boat is seen regularly sailing in the harbor, and everything is kept in excellent running order. The previous owner kept the boat in a low humidity area in Bonaire, under cover and on the hard when not in use. The current owner bought the boat and had the yard manager sail her to the Bahamas, where he sailed it to Charleston without incident.
