- Hull: 44' 13m loa 12'6" beam semi finn keel for low drag and underwater hard chine for shoulder stability under sail. Relatively flat hull plates extend from near the bow almost to the transom providing racing sled like performance off the wind... Joe Adams also designed this cruising hull with a high bow and a lot of beautiful sheer. Harrier can be driven hard into a head sea while remaining dry and sea kindly... Steering is provided by a skeg hung rudder and rack and pinion stainless wheel... Large rudder is hung directly behind large 3blade prop for superior handling and backing..

- • Hull epoxied all: around and painted white outside, but left the natural color of the Oukume plywood on the inside. White oak thwarts and a little mahogany on oarlocks and the center well.
- This is a great little craft: forgiving, beautiful and simple. Finished building it in 2008 and successfully sailed on the Mississippi River a few seasons.
- • Hinged center board and kick: up rudder, ideal for shallow water and for easy conversion to rowing mode.

- The main cabin has a full wrap: around dinette (starboard) that converts to a double berth with a 7ft long settee / berth (port). The forward stateroom sleeps two comfortably, has a hanging locker and chair. There is also a generously sized quarter berth just aft of the steering station.
- The U: shaped galley has a stove/oven, a large ice box and a sink with pressure hot / cold water. The decks comprise a foredeck incorporating an anchor winch and roller, a raised trunk cabin with foc's'le escape hatch and side decks leading to the cockpit. The cockpit consists of port and stern lazarette hatches and steering pedestal.
- General remarks: The yacht is an excellent sailor, a comfortable roomy family boat, also perfect for chartering. Solidly built and well kept. Sails 1992 and in very good condition.
