O'Day 1986 description- Construction: Marine Plywood on oak frames, beams of laminated mahogany. One layer of glass fibre bonded to wood during construction.
- 2002 : Replaced old A4 with Nanni Diesel (14 hp FW Cooled)
- SL: 1 Digital Speed Log
- Hull Coating Interior: rust acid etched, Rustloc coated, and over coated with cork filled mastic. Entire interior between bulkheads insulated with fibreglass to circa 1Ѕ" to 2" in thickness.
- 3 Sails: A Fully Battened Dacron Main; with 120% Dacron Genoa on a Harken Jib Reefing and Furling System; New in 1997/like new condition now, Asymmetrical Nylon Spinnaker with ATN Spinnaker Sleeve and ATN Tacker.
- Rudder : balanced, hollow rudder
- Diesel Engine: Yanmar 2QM20, 22 H.P. @3000 RPM
- Hull Coating Exterior: rust acid etched, Rustlok primed and Awlgrip finished.
- Ballast: lead, 10,000lbs., poured into keel trough, fore of engine room..
- Maiden Voyage: 2007-09: 16 (to date, has only been sailed in Great Lakes' fresh water).

- A classic heavyweight long-distance cruiser designed by Peter Ibold. Endurance 35s have been built in steel, ferro and GRP : Erasmus is an 'aluminium' Endurance, built by Kingston Aluminium Yachts in Canada. Today she is in 'as new' condition, having undergone a major refit during the last four years. A new 29hp engine, the interior completely rebuilt and new electronics/instruments. Very good cathodic protection, monitoring and control unit. This yacht is in excellent condition.
