O'Day 25 description

  • 3: Once the boat is sold the investor will receive all of his invested money ($20,000) plus 20% of the net profits of the sale. Say the boat sells for $60,000 the investor will receive his money ($20,000) plus 20% of the remainder $40,000 or $8,000. The ROI of this deal is 40% in one year.
  • 4 : This deal would be drawn (Lien) by an attorney, so it will be legal and up front.
  • 1 : I am in the process of restoring it, but I ran out cash, so I need an investor to pledge up to $20,000 to finish the job and sell it ASAP. A similar boat in very good condition sells for $60,000 to $75,000. The restoration will be done by a professional boat restorer and it might take less then a year to finish the job.
  • 2 : The investor would issue the work payment checks directly to the professional boat restorer. the investor will be part of all restoring negotiations. I will probably do a lot of the work without pay.
  • 5 : The investor will have the right to sail the boat with me or alone with his friends at any time, until the boat is sold.
  • 6: If the investor would like to be part of the crew and enjoy the boat while the boat is available, will help pay half of the monthly maintenance cost ($150) for mooring at Crandon Marina, registration and insurance. If WE decide to move the boat to a better location and increase the monthly expenses the same deal will apply (half and half).
  • Decks are marine plywood with fiberglass and gel-coat on top and finished with anti: slip paint. She retains her original wooded handrails and curved sliding hatches all lovingly maintained. Internals are teak which is varnished and has achieved an old world patina.
