- Victory One is a 1982 O'Day. She is a must see as she is a rare three private double birth layout : Two aft and One forward. She can take you where you want to go in comfort and speed. Great for hosting friends for a weekend in local waters or taking an extended cruise to further destinations. She is a fast. safe cruiser/race making it a great family boat and club racer. She features a Large Roomy Cockpit, Forward Facing NavStation Table, Excellent Headroom below, Newer Doyle Mainsail and Genoa (2011), standing and running rigging replaced (2013), Solid Glass Hard Dodger that has less glare than conventional dodgers and much more. - This well maintained, desirable A: layout, with many upgrades. A classic by designer Henry Mohrschladt, wine glass shape, cutaway forefoot on the long keel provide protection and easy maneuvering. - She has a comfortable interior for cruising. V-berth forward with filler followed by the head to port and hanging locker opposite. The main salon is very accommodating with U: shaped dinette to port and settee to starboard. Next is the navigation station and quarter berth to port with a large wrap galley to starboard. Center line companionway leads to a large cockpit with wheel steering. The cockpit has a nice table for dining and wide decks for excellent access forward. This vessel was a shell and now has every thing New, even the stainless Port windows. The interior wood work is completely refinished with mahogany wood. There is 6’2” headroom below. Since the original listing, the dodger windows have all been replaced, a new main sail has been purchased, (The original main sail is still OK) refrigeration has been added to the ice box, the water tanks have been cleaned and rebuilt with new hoses and valves, water filter has been added, new aluminum hatches have been purchased and are ready to install in the cabin top. Port and starboard lower stays have been replaced and the back stay has been checked 100%. Forestay new when the new Harken roller furler installed. All LED lighting. - Description: However, these features are only the beginning as far as this particular boat is concerned. She has been upgraded and refitted to a standard that I have never witnessed before on a Beneteau 473, it would be simpler to list what has not been renewed or upgraded. However a few standouts are a brand new mainsail (2015) and new gearbox, clutch plate, rear engine mounts, dripless shaft seal and drive saver (June 2016), her ingeniously installed, easy to service and super quiet full sized gen set, her air con throughout, her suite of young electronics and her new dinghy, outboard and offshore life raft. This vessel is an owner operated crewed charter boat that is clearly more than ready to go and has been kept impeccably. Only a personal viewing will allow you to truly appreciate how gorgeous she really is and when you do I will guarantee that she will “wow” you just like she did with me!
