Please, I have been contacted by way too many dreamers and keel kickers or people who already have a Cape Dory 27, but just want to compare mine with their's. If you are just browsing please state that upfront or browse the other Cape Dory's on the site. This is not a project boat, and it is well equipped, therefore it is priced accordingly.
- Hull: 44' 13m loa 12'6" beam semi finn keel for low drag and underwater hard chine for shoulder stability under sail. Relatively flat hull plates extend from near the bow almost to the transom providing racing sled like performance off the wind... Joe Adams also designed this cruising hull with a high bow and a lot of beautiful sheer. Harrier can be driven hard into a head sea while remaining dry and sea kindly... Steering is provided by a skeg hung rudder and rack and pinion stainless wheel... Large rudder is hung directly behind large 3blade prop for superior handling and backing..

- This 24-foot sailboat is a stable boat and it is easy to sail. It also comes with the necessary equipment to participate in sailboat racing. Included is a 6 horsepower two: cycle Johnson outboard, several sails, and a steel cradle mounted on a flatbed trailer. Please note that the trailer does not have brakes and therefore is not suitable for highway travel while carrying the boat. There is some chipping of the paint on the sides of the boat. Otherwise the boat is in great condition. The bottom has no blistering and is covered with VC17.
