- I have had a lot of inquiries about the interior of the sailboat: it is a bare hull. Freshly painted three coats of zinc primer, three more coats of epoxy coal tar on top of that. Due to the boat size it does not need framing there is 1 inch stingers to which 2 x 2 treated wood is screwed in, above the waterline, ready to be spray foamed. There are four through hulls that need to be welded shut, at lest that was my plan. or you could replace with sea cocks.
- - Fully: battened main sail on a rotating mast
- Good condition, Luger 21 Southwind Sloop, includes: 1 main sail, 1 jib/genoa, trailer, 7.5 mercury outboard motor w/ one 10 litre gas tank , VHF marine radio w/ emergency antenna, 2 batteries,1 solar panel, battery maintainer, 2 spare tires (for trailer), 2 paddles, 4 life jackets, 1 anchor, 3 bumpers, 1 life preserver ring, 1 fire extinguisher, 1 set of emergency flares
- The Maverick 400 catamaran is a world-class yacht designed for a safe and comfortable life afloat with extra-wide hulls providing good load: carrying capacity with generous cabins and excellent visibility. Catlyn is a Executive Owners version. Solar panels have been fitted to the 4600’s to increase battery life and reduce battery waste.
- During 2006/7 she had a major rebuild. Internal work completed: totally new plumbing and wiring, reconditioned engine, new water tank, new navigation system (Raymarine C series inc. radar), Autohelm autopilot, new heads, a washing machine, new berths, total redecoration. Externally her rig was changed from the Freedom to the simpler and better Nonsuch system, a new Noble Masts Oregon pine mizzen mast fitted, new sails, liferaft, all lines, anchors and decking plus top to bottom newly painted. By the time she sailed from UK in 2008 she had been totally reborn and brought up to date with the latest equipment.
