- Description: I am selling my 1995 Beneteau Oceanis 281 masthead sloop sailboat in excellent condition. The boat is 28.5ft in length with a 9.5 beam. It has a shoal bulb keel with a 4ft draft. The boat was designed by Jean Marie Finot. It has a generous luxury interior with 6.3 headroom and 6 births. The Yanmar motor with low hours is 18 HP and in excellent working condition. It was commissioned in June with new oil and oil filters. The bilge pump that drains the cooler, shower, and main bilge was recently replaced. The marine toilet operates correctly. The fresh water tank hold 50 gallons. There is a battery charger and two brand new quality marine batteries. All the instruments (depth, speed) and lights work properly. There is a radio with speakers in the cabin and cockpit. Shore power is functioning properly. The sails are in excellent condition. The main sail has lazy jacks and a Doyle stack pack. The Genoa is on a rolling furler and has a whisker pole. There is a brand new custom Bimini top over the cockpit. This is an exceptional well designed sailboat with all the amenities. Pearson 31-2 description- The boat which was originally called OPNI (Opni (Object Planet Non: Identifie) is a legendary Libera built in 1983. It has won the Centomiglia, the Blue Ribbon Race on Lake Geneva, the Bol’dor and achieved second place at Europe Challenge. Its last victory was in 1996 at the RUNDUM (the Blue Ribbon Race on Lake Boden). Seeing the above mentioned results, it’s obviously not a brand new boat.
