- Description: s/v Gemini is currently located in Honolulu, Hawaii. She just recently sailed from San Diego, on the way to Japan and has been outfitted and had many recent upgrades to make her ready for the voyage. Now we're waiting out the season to continue to Japan and plans may change. The current owner would be willing to sail the boat to you anywhere in the world. - Equipment: Engine: Universal M 4-30 30 hp diesel engine runs great and just serviced and had the raw water system cleaned; All brand new (March 2013!) and upgraded standing rigging, turnbuckles, chain plates and mast head tangs, (this improvement is essential for offshore sailing and is worth $3000 alone); Very sturdy and top of the line Wind Pilot Pacific Plus self steering wind vane with emergency auxiliary rudder (new price approx. $8000); Sails: mainsail in good shape, spare mainsail in fair shape, both with 2 reefs (second is deep), 2 genoas, 3 jibs on a Shaefer roller furling system; running rigging in good shape, beautiful solid wood boom, custom wood work (helm seat, hatch cover, toe rails), nice interior (could use some inexpensive and easy modifications, but lots of nice woodwork- including wood cabin sole and grating) wheel steering (custom nautical wheel), teak cockpit grate, bow roller for anchor, autopilot, new battery charger, VHF, inflatable dinghy, anchor and rode, life jackets, bosn's chair, tools, fishing gear, lots of spare parts. The boat was just hauled out and had the bottom and boot stripe painted, new zincs and the hull buffed out. The hull is solid and blister free and photos and video of the boat out of the water can be provided.
