  • Description: If you are ready for your first "real" sailboat, this one is for you and your family. Beautiful classic lines. Google this boat to read about its many outstanding attributes including a ridiculously thick fiberglass hull. No blistering or delaminating in this boat ever. This 30 foot, 1966 Pearson Coaster is located in Stonington, Connecticut and ready to be sold to a new owner. A solid built family day sailor / cruiser with many recent upgrades. I am the third owner. The mast has been stored inside every season and the boat has been covered at the end of every season. Fresh water cooled, Atomic 4 inboard (30hp), rebuilt in 2015, 3 bladed prop. New main and sail cover 2009, spinnaker and pole. A new Harken jib reefing/ furling installed in 2008. This is the perfect boat for the first timer. New (2014) shaft, stuffing box and Cutless bearing. All professionally installed by Mystic Shipyard. Rudder rebuilt, engine removed from boat, overhauled and reinstalled. Engine removal and installation, and alignment was by Mystic Shipyard. The boat was recently launched and is on a mooring in Stonington Harbor. It is being actively sailed and is ready for a summer's worth of fun.
