• Description: 1956 Fairey Marine 26' Atalanta Sloop, Uffa Fox design. Trailerable shallow draft cruiser with two retractable cast iron keels, giving outstanding heavy weather performance.Hot molded process providing strong durable hull. Center cockpit,forward cabin has 2 berths and aft cabin 2 berths. New sails, but still have original cotton sails including spinnaker.new rigging, 48 volt Torquedo electric motor. • Below: With her companionway moved aft vs other S43 she has just three steps. King size wide, tapers to a double after cabin berth. Large wet locker, tons of storage (as in months of provisioning).
• Above: Cockpit, with a cut: out transom useful for swimming from, dinghy boarding to safe mob retrieval. Hard bimini and canvas to the dodger. Dodger just remodeled with larger and new plastic (Nov.2016)
• Foredeck, has safe wide side: decks, the "doghouse" is both a great spot for dogs or crew on watch. The flush deck can hold two large dinghies (up to 11/12')
• Roller: furling jib, main and spinnaker included.
• Blue Sunbrella mainsail cover, UV: block Sunbrella fabric on trailing edge of jib acts as furled cover. Custom Sunbrella Bimini and clear acrylic Dodger (!) with stainless supports for sun/rain protection while under way.
• All cushions new - V: Berth, cabin seats, in royal blue Naugahyde, plus boom tent.
• Completely ready : everything in working order. It may be from 1970 but it looks brand new!
