Penguin Racer 33.5 description- Forward of the galley on the port side is a stateroom with single and double beds and storage. Continuing forward and running athwart: ship is the central head with separate shower. The head and shower is accessible from both, starboard and port staterooms. Port stateroom with a double bunk is forward of the settee. From the port stateroom you enter a short passageway with storage cabinets and finally the forward stateroom.

- Description: This is a 1954 all wood Penguin Racing Class Sailboat. The boat is made od hard pine, beautiful mahogany, and some oak. It is two-toned in color and in perfect condition. The original sail is in great condition. Sail is off-white with a black and white 2 foot tall penguin near the top of the sail. The boat was fully restored in 2009 (taken down to bare wood, epoxied 7 times and varnished 7 times and certian places were stained for aesthetic enhancement). The rigging and some of the hardware was replaced in 2011. Every year she has been epoxied and varnished per need; including the keel and bottom. The boat has been sailed in fresh water only - except for one trip down a brackish river. The bottom of the boat is flat for racing and so there is no draft until the keel is put down. The keel is swing style and very easy to raise and lower for quick entry and exit into shallow water and beaches. Two original oars come with the boat, the handles are beautifully shaped and leather wrapped at the handles. The boat is equiped for a jib or spinnaker to be added. This boat has sailed in regattas since its build and has been excellently taken care of. This is a true functional piece of maritime history. A wood small motor mount comes along with this purchase for hanging up a trolling motor. With the mast down (or out) you can row this boat very efficiently. The trailer comes with the boat. This is my baby, but I have too many boats and she has to go. Please sail her and take good care of her.
