• : top which gives her a very distinctive feature. The 27 T2 displaces only 5400 pounds but is very quick and well built. The only critique with this 27 was the lack of headroom (Practical Sailor Dec 1995). The keel is bone dry and the cabin include Wine glass holder, CB radio, all necessary marine equipment, including five type II life jackets, and an additional 310sqft main sail. Two stroke engine and maintenance is conducted regularly. This boat is simply looking for a good home and a owner for the upcoming season. Owners feel that the boat stands up well to windy conditions, stating that they feel safe in the boat because she is stable and remains under control when the usual precautions have been taken. (Practical Sailor Magazine, June 1, 1995.) We love to sail and recently upgraded to a 34 footer simply because of additional stowing for our diving equipment. • This ruggedly-built Rafiki sloop has proven it's capabilities by circumnavigating the globe. There have been extensive upgrades. The teak decks were removed in 2012 and re: glassed. The wood boomkin was replaced with a 316 SS version. The engine was replaced in 2002 with a Kubota diesel. The fuel tanks were replaced in 2012 and carry 110 gals. It also carries 110 gals fresh water in a SS tank. The standing rigging was replaced in 2002 and the running rigging in 2015. The sails were new in 2004 and are in very good condition. She has twin headstays for flying two sails wing on wing. She is easily steered by tiller and balances nicely. There are twin autopilots. The refrigeration was upgraded in 2004 and vacuum panels installed. She is being offered at an extremely low price.
