• Description: 1979 S-2 Sailboat, 24' length and 8' beam. Includes 9.9 HP Johnson Electric start, 2 stroke outboard with optional pull start and two 6.5 gal. gas containers with hook ups. Bow and stern pulpits, bow and stern anchors with 250 ft. rode, VHF radio with 25 mile radius, fiberglass hull with wood interior decking, cushions have no tears, life jackets never used, two fire extinguishers, stainless steel swim ladder which attaches to side, 5 gal porta potty, cabin lights and running lights all working. This boat was designed to sail on the Great Lakes, is about 3,600 lbs., 4 ft. fin keel, two set of sails, whisker pole and spinnaker pole. Handles beautifully in a variety of conditions. High free board and stable design make for a comfortable ride. Custom folding oak insert makes into a full size bed in the salon area. V-berth is a comfortable sleeping area as well. Loads of storage area under cockpit where original motor was removed due to fumes and well sealed up. Outboard is more than adequate. Bilge is dry and boat is seaworthy. Currently in Alamitos Bay and must be moved as slip is not included.
