• All standing rigging is secured out at the toe: rail, leaving uncluttered open area's along the decks and around the mast. All standing rigging and lifelines are oversized. The large 'poop' deck is an attractive feature, a great place for dining and entertaining.

Taking the lead from the shorthanded offshore racing fleets like the Whitbread and BOC around the world races, Saga opted to maximize waterline length to gain the desired interior space, and to judiciously pare weight, and retain a relatively narrow beam.
