Santana Shock 30

  • Beam: 10
  • Draft: 5.2
  • Description: The first Santana 30 was built in 1979 and was designed by Shad Turner for W.D.Shock Co. The design carried much of the Shock racing hull design except for the 10' beam and extra displacement. The added beam gave the Santana a larger interior. Among the largest sloops on the market at the time. The layout is very friendly with sleeping for seven having two settees and the good size "V" berth and a quarter berth. This is a strong sailing vessel with new standing rigging and the mast stepped to the keel and not the cabin top. The sail inventory includes a spinnaker pole 2 spinnaker , mail sail, and roller furling and 3 spare sails.
  • Equipment: Lewmar # single winch
