• Description: This 1983 51' (Hull #11) Shannon Center Cockpit holds all the charm you expect to see in a Shannon Sailing vessel. With 3 separate cabins and two heads with two separate showers, she is able to welcome guests or accommodate a family. In preparation for a long cruising trip - many upgrades were made on the vessel from 2006-2010 such as: a new feathering prop, new aft head, new engine shaft, new battery charger/inverter, bobstay and bow pulpit, new rod rigging, new lifelines, new main anchor chain, new electric windlass, all AGM batteries, hard holding tanks, center board cable replaced, electric bow thrusters, LED anchor light and tri-colors. The sails include the Main, Jib, Mizzen, Genoa, Spinnaker, Missen staysail (spinnaker for the mizzen), and a Gail Rider storm anchor. The classic wood interiors lend a cozy atmosphere; the television is computer and cable ready while the roomy galley is fully equipped with all the necessities of home. This vessel also comes with a water-maker that need only be installed. Her electronics include iCom ssb/Ham radio, iCom VHF radio, Raymarine GPS, Raymarine radar, Raymarine chartplotter, and tridata displays at both steering stations and the Nav desk. On board you will also find a 5KW Westerbake diesel generator while davits hold the dinghy powered with a 6hp Evinrude Outboard.
