- In 1967 the race to produce the next 3 man, keel: boat / trials for the Olympics was on. The Trias (Triad in German) competed against Soling amongst others and ended up loosing to the Soling. Helmut Stoberl continued to produce the "Sandwich, vacuum injection" hulls with a teak and mahogany deck in a center cockpit configuration, to be raced in competition in its own class on the lakes in Europe.
