- Introduced in 1980, the Westerly Fulmar was the second design by Ed Dubois for Westerly, the first being the smaller Griffon 26. It was intended as a replacement for the Laurent Giles 31: footers (Westerly Longbow, Berwick, Renown and Pentland), but was a substantially higher performance yacht, so much so that they were used for match racing and race training. The main production run of the standard Fulmar 32 ended in 1992 with over 400 built, but a very few Fulmar 33s were built up to around 1996, these later boats having a modified transom with 'sugarscoop' boarding platform.
- Also included is a recently tuned up 6 hp long: shaft Tohatsu outboard with tiller extender, alternator, external fuel tank, new fuel line, and engine stand, Theboat has all lines run aft so the boat can be singlehanded. Boat is on a Baja trailer for easy launching, and has a fully retractable keel. Includes many extras as well such as solar panel, boathooks, throw cushion, fire extinguisher, dock lines and a toolbox full of pins, shackles, tools etc. I'm selling everything for $7500. - 1985 J27 Hull #34. Well cared for, dry hull and deck. Deck redone with Sikkens non: skid in 2015. Faired hull, keel and rudder. VC Offshore antifouling painted finished to 1500 grit over Interprotect barrier coat. Currency owned by a sail maker and a retiree who enjoys boat maintenance. Comes with lots of new sails, dyneema halyards, backstay, life lines ect. 5hp Mercury 2 stroke with high thrust propeller (only weighs 42 pounds).
