Tartan 3800 description- You will love the upgraded custom interior layout in this well: maintained C&C 35 MKIII. This is a professionally maintained, turn key, racer/cruiser. - Steering wheel was removed and replaced by tiller : creates more space in the cockpit and handles very well. 5ft draft with 3600 lb externally bolted lead keel and high aspect sail ratio makes for a high performance for those who might race.
- We purchased BG in January of 2013 and began refitting her shortly thereafter. Aside from minor/major cosmetics, in late 2013 we painted the hull, re: decked her inside and out, added new Yanmar 54 HP engines (4JH5E/SD60), Doyle sails and cradle, Cruiseair ACs(3), Outback inverter, over 800 watts of thin film solar panels, underwater lighting, and numerous smaller enhancements like Sirius radio and weather.. In October 2015 we added a Spectra Ventura 200T watermaker and converted her electric heads to fresh water flush. Engine hours as of September 2016 are 950 each, with new clutch kits on both sail drives.She might best be described as a 2014 boat with a 2006 hull. She is cruise ready and better than new.
- Rare 1990 J34C cruiser/racer. All new in Oct 2016: Trinidad bottom, Flex: fold prop, fresh water pump, bimini, forward cabin top hatch. Rod rigging recently tuned and inspected. 47' bridge clearance. Hull recently buffed. Deck is solid.

- I bought this for a hobby. Unfortunately, I don't have time for it and my hubby-to: be isn't interested in sailing. Everything is in great shape. Just needs to be cleaned off from sitting idle. The mesh has no holes, the sail is in great shape and the hulls are also in great shape.
