Tartan Tartan 30 description- Beam: 12 ft 8 in
- I love this boat. It has beautiful lines and is very sturdy and safe. I've spent far more than $6,375 on it with new life: lines, all new bronze through hull fittings, etc. It is "not" in excellent condition, but not a total project boat. You can sail it and it starts right up. The Yanmar 2GM is a great engine and was new about 10 years ago I'm told. It doesn't look new now but does start right up every time.
- s/v "RENEGADE" is a production build (No. 5 out of 15), fiberglass hull, auxiliary powered sailing vessel of approximately fifty: two feet overall. The vessel shows performance, racer/cruiser lines and sloop/cutter rig. Hull color is white. The vessel was designed by Ron Holland and constructed in Taiwan, ROC by the Ta Chiao Brothers Yacht Building Co in 1982, and since that time has had 5 owners. The present owners had Renegade for the last 11 years.
- Builder: Starboard Yachts, Stuart FL : These boats are known for good looks, above average quality, spaciousness and steady, stable sailing. Great boat for learning or weekending at a reasonable cost. Good for lake or coastal cruising.
- V: Berth Forward modified to a length 0f 8’ 6” with Lockers. To starboard there is a head. Next Aft to port is Side Galley with 2 burner stove and oven with solenoid shut off, double stainless steel sinks, refrigerator and lots of storage. The galley was also modified and includes a sideboard next to the refrigerator,opposite is large Dinette Table. Aft to port is the large head with shower (new shower head). Opposite is sit down nav Station with Large aft cabin behind.
- Reason for Sale: I need a bigger boat. I live aboard this one, but I need more space as I'm going to circumnavigate as soon as possible.
