Tartan Tartan 82.2

  • Beam: 8.7"
  • Draft: 3.2"
  • Description: A Sparkman and Stevens design, reflecting the Finisterre style CCA era, when 27' was considered suitable for open ocean sailing. The hull is solid, the engine has only 200 hrs, and a dripless shaft seal. Most of interior was recently painted, and exterior work is in progress, so cosmetics are mixed. New house battery, LED cabin lighting, and mainsail cover. Boat was originally raced, so there is gear I have never used. RF 135 genoa and main with reef points. Selling because we are in our 80's and not so nimble anymore.
  • Equipment: Three anchors with rodes, mastmate for climbing, home built ladder that allows comfortable access from the water. Radio and depth sounder, self steering gear not currently set up, but included.
