- Stepping down, the head and owner's cabin and v: berth are primarily dedicated to storage, with a full workshop and all the spare parts you could need. This boat is loaded with parts, as the owner did all his maintenance himself. You have to see her!
Tayana 37 description- CONDITION: This boat is in VERY GOOD ready to sail condition. Last sailed in 2015. She promises many years of great sailing for her new owner! The trailer has been recently used for storage purposes only.
- Mast height: 34′ 6″ above deck
- I have had a lot of inquiries about the interior of the sailboat: it is a bare hull. Freshly painted three coats of zinc primer, three more coats of epoxy coal tar on top of that. Due to the boat size it does not need framing there is 1 inch stingers to which 2 x 2 treated wood is screwed in, above the waterline, ready to be spray foamed. There are four through hulls that need to be welded shut, at lest that was my plan. or you could replace with sea cocks.
- Solid top to bottom, bow to stern best way to describe an S: 2!!!! quality shows both above and bellow deck. Great layout bellow and nice size cockpit make a for a great weekend cruiser or dockside retreat!!
- This is a 2005 MacGregor 26M sailboat with many features and currently is located at Hanna Creek Marina in a slip for the season (May 1st : October 31st) which is included. It has a 2006 Yamaha 50hp outboard engine. I have attached pictures including two (2) documents stating all the features of this boat. Also includes a MacGregor trailer. Everything has been serviced, cleaned up, and she is all ready to go for a great summer.
- While on the move, she is equipped with a Selden in: mast furling, fully battened, main sail and with a furling Genoa all operated from the safety of the rear cockpit making changes in sail area in worsening weather a drama free event. The Genoa has just returned from Elvstrom Sails after a tack & head and UV overhaul. She is equipped with the usual navigation equipment, autopilot and radar, all Raymarine and with a Vesper Marine AIS transponder for safe day or night Channel passages. She has a fully maintained, recently overhauled, powerful 78hp turbo charged Volvo Pentar that starts first time, every time. She has the added benefit of a fully maintained SidePower Bowthruster with upgraded propellers for stress free marina manoeuvres.
