Tayana 37 description- Re: fitted, meticulously maintained and ready to go. She is hull number 5 and one of the last vessels to be built in the world renowned Horng Bin boat yard in Taiwan. Their quality craftsmanship and the Scott Sprague design combines to create a true bluewater sailing masterpiece.
- Hulls are constructed of a solid fiberglass laminate and are most often trouble: free, with the possible exception of some osmotic blistering below the waterline. Blistering is usually not severe and I have yet to see a case that I felt seriously compromised the safety of the boat.
- Fully protected skeg: hung hydraulic rudder with an additional custom made Windpilot .
- She has been beautifully maintained as a part of a light-use, captained: only daytime charter fleet and could be an excellent investment opportunity for a buyer who would like to keep her in a fleet with a reputable company.

- Steering wheel was removed and replaced by tiller : creates more space in the cockpit and handles very well. 5ft draft with 3600 lb externally bolted lead keel and high aspect sail ratio makes for a high performance for those who might race.

- Deck structure made in separate water proof compartments. M: 50 deck designed for very rough seas with maximum protection for the crew and gears, it’s maximum heeling angle is 151°. All riggings can be used as “hands on Deck” or directly from the cockpit. Aluminum low profile ‘rolled edge’ bulwark with stainless steel mooring cleats. Two stainless steel pulpits one each on port and starboard side of the mast for safety when working at the mast.
- The hull is a water cut, inside-outside, welded Cartel Aluminum. Hull color dark Blue, deck covered with white anti: slip protection on original aluminum. Cockpit trimmed by antireflection white color on the side walls and teak wood inside the cockpit walking and seating areas laid with black caulking. The stern design incorporates a bathing platform trimmed with teak slats and teak slats stainless steel steps and handle for access from the stern deck.

- Description: A very nice Hobie Getaway. This boat is in good shape with good sails. Trampoline shows some wear but still fine. Haven't used it in 5 years and need the room.
