- BUILDERS REMARKS: Designed in collaboration between the architect Alex Simonis and Robertson & Caine. The Leopard 47 is the best combination of space, performance, quality and value. Built in Cape Town, South Africa; outfitted with US equipment, including complete electronics, generator and air conditioning. The Leopard 47 features a galley up, private and spacious heads, an aft platform with direct easy access to the cockpit, and great performance under power and sail.

- Swift Marine, Wrightsville Beach, went out of business in late 70's. This boat was assembled and rigged(with modern rigging: Harken traveler, lazy jacks, reefing, Pro Furl jib, etc.)in 1996. Boat was pulled this winter and repainted. Kept on boat lift. THIS IS A FAST BOAT. But safe. Never been flipped. It is featured in Multihulls Mag in late 70's. Designed by Ed Dopler, Cal.

- OWNERS REMARKS: Pogeyan was purchased in 2011 and transformed from a coastal cruising yacht to an ocean passage maker in the same year. She has been sailed predominately in very remote locations. Her list of spares and equipment reflect the need to be self sufficient in locals far from the average sailor. She is a proven passage maker with a safe and comfortable motion at sea. No expense has been spared in her upgrades and upkeep. She continues to sail the Pacific Ocean.
