• Proven racer, “Fox” a double: ender based on the Tancook Whaler model, built in 1946 by Ralph Wiley in his Oxford, Maryland shipyard. In the same family for two generations, she is now available for sale. Accommodations and space for four people, the interior joiner work is of black walnut, cherry and white cedar. The hull is constructed of mahogany strips on frames of white oak. All original equipment to convey, please call the yard to arrange an inspection.

• I re: designed the rig as a balanced lug on wooden spars with an aluminum mast. The sail was professionally made by Andy Soper of Kingston, Ontario, and has two sets of reefing points set up with jiffy reefing. She has a nice downhaul system specially designed to facilitate tensioning the rig and making adjustments from the helmsman's position while underway. Her centerboard is galvanized steel (weighs about 100 LBS), and is easily lifted with an attractive custom winch mounted on the case. Removable wooden outboard bracket which is mounted on the port quarter.
