The AIS transponder system warns and identifies location, speed, direction and identity information of other nearby boats and ships along with showing our own position and information to them, course over ground and speed over ground. This system proved to be a 'must have' when we were traversing the high traffic shipping lanes of the Yucatбn Straits.

- Rudder: The boat's rudder was enlarged, following the guidelines provided by the designer Ted Brewer to ensure the rudders dimensions remained within the engineering specs of the rest of the steering gear
- Steering: A second tiller arm was added to the rudder post and a second hydraulic steering system to accommodate the autopilot, completely separating the hydraulic system of the steering wheel and auto pilot If there is a problem with one steering system then the other one is available.
- Galley: The countertops in the galley was replaced with Corian. During that process we replaced the galley sinks with two stainless steel 12 x 13 x 7 1/2 sinks.
- Freezer/Refrigerator systems : Both the Refrigerator and Freezer was rebuilt. Giving you separate refrigerator and freezer boxes. Each with it own cooling system. The freezer is cooled by a Techanautics Cool Blue 12 volt holding plate system and the Frigerator has an Adler Barbour 12 evaporator plate system.
