Alcort Sailfish 48.7 description- Our beautiful sailboat "Willow" is for sale. With the fresh arrival of a child in our lives and newfound desires to become more "land": based, we cannot fulfill our duties in owning a boat such as this. Willow wants to be SAILED, sailing the ocean and exploring the world. Willow is a 1979 Young Sun "Westwind" 35 designed by Bob Perry and built in Taiwan. She is a heavy double ended full keel sailboat that draws 5'6". As a result of owning the boat for about 6 years, living on her for over a year and sailing her almost 10,000 miles, we have built a very intimate relationship with Willow and her systems and know most that there is to know about her. We are also interested in partial trades and love to hear creative ideas.
- Description: Cape Dory 25 hull #107. 3/4 hull lead keel. sails inventory: main, jib, genoa, drifter. new 8hp Tohatsu motor(may be 5: 6hrs) external teak varnish. lifelines. 2 bunks to rest in main cabin forepick to store sails wet closet head. instrument. 2 primary 1 cabintop winches. all halyards lead into cockpit. new bottom paint every season. very smooth regularly sanded wet area to prevent bottom paint buildup. slender hull, i consistently beat larger Cape Dory in the marina on point. light loads. perfect for day sailing or solo cruising. great way to learn sailing while keeping all controls in your hands or enjoy an easy day on the water in the company of 4. very stable design. tested in 35kn gusts with 12ft swells in late November. I spend way too much crewing away to enjoy her. boat is on the hard in Gateway Marina. comes with her own cradle, ladder and dock box and a brand new tiller.

- Description: I have a Beautifully restored Alcort Sailfish. The sailfish is a foot longer than the sunfish and has no well to collect water or bugs. This is a no maintenance beach sailor. The boat has been sealed and repainted. All mohangony woodwork has 7 fresh layers of varnish. This boat is really fun to sail, and a great, no maintenance addition to your beach.
