- Description: selling my Herreshoff Eagle 22. This boat are increasing in value every year and extremenly rare to find one for sale! There were made with lots of layers of fiberglass back then, this one is 1978. Original gelcoat everywhere in awesome cond for the year. Just two months ago I stripped the whole bottom and applied new Interlux epoxy barrier kote and Interlux antifouling paint. New steering cables. New stainless steel centerboard cable. New main cover, also all the bright work is just been done and looks awesome!. I been using this boat only in fresh water for now. Rigging is excellent and sails are the original in good conditions, yes I do have the top sail also. I designed a ginn pole system to lower and hoist the mast with only to people. Boat comes with a 2004 Suzuki 4 stroke 4hp engine in pristine conditions with just brand new motor oil, impeller, spark plug and lower unit oil. Trailer is all galvanized with no rust and brand new lights. Bimini top is in good condition and covers almost all the cockpit. Cabin is nice and clean with cuchions. Text prefer if not email me.
