- Hull was stripped of antifouling and all bottom paint in 2012, keel was rustproofed and hull epoxied prior to new anti: fouling. Sails were cleaned and serviced in 2014 and are in great shape for their age. Comes with a North Sails geneker and snuffer. Boat converted to propane in 2013 and new Force 10 3 burner stove installed. All interior and exterior 12 volt lights are LED, including nav., deck and anchor light with light sensor. Engine in excellent condition with Balmar Serpentine pulley system, 3 blade adjustable J Prop and line cutter. Boat saw minimal use for 10 years by previous owner.

- We purchased BG in January of 2013 and began refitting her shortly thereafter. Aside from minor/major cosmetics, in late 2013 we painted the hull, re: decked her inside and out, added new Yanmar 54 HP engines (4JH5E/SD60), Doyle sails and cradle, Cruiseair ACs(3), Outback inverter, over 800 watts of thin film solar panels, underwater lighting, and numerous smaller enhancements like Sirius radio and weather.. In October 2015 we added a Spectra Ventura 200T watermaker and converted her electric heads to fresh water flush. Engine hours as of September 2016 are 950 each, with new clutch kits on both sail drives.She might best be described as a 2014 boat with a 2006 hull. She is cruise ready and better than new.

Columbia 8.7 - Equipment: Main sail / CDI roller furler with #1 Genoa Sail, #2 Genoa , Spinnaker Sail and pole, Danforth anchor, 4 adult coast guard approved life vests, 2 children coast guard approved life vests, Manual bilge pump, Compass installed in bulkhead in cockpit, Docking lines and bumpers, New cushions in cabin 4 years ago, New (plastic) gas tank, an inboard atomic 4 engine which I had converted to electronic ignition a few years ago. That improvement made the engine completely reliable with never any stalling, even when idling down to enter slip. Safety Equipment: Fire extinguisher, Horn, Flares, Throw ring for man overboard. Lowrance Elite 5 depth sounder, fish-finder and chart-plotter with GPS. 2 Navionics cards with digital marine charts included with the chart-plotter (1 for the great Lakes and U.S. Coastal Waters and the other for U.S. inland lakes (includes the finger lakes). The plotter with the cards retails new for over $800. In progress: replacing the compression post block that sets at the bow end of the bilge (under the wood post that carries the load of the mast from the cabin roof to the deck floor. The compression block then transfers that load to the keel. New block is made with white oak. Re-tabbing the bulk head between the head and galley space. To my knowledge, this sailboat has never been off Cayuga lake. She is an older boat-1973, 41 years old, and has her share of dings and scratches but she is sound and lots of fun to sail.
