- Sleeping accommodations for six are provided in the V: berth, port and starboard settees and aft quarter berth. From the cockpit into the cabin you find the chart table located to starboard with the galley just opposite. Aft and to port is the large open quarter berth. The open cabin layout in the 31 Pacific Seacraft is very similar to the famous Dana model except that it is larger. The unique and thoughtful galley table slides neatly beneath the forward berth when not in use leaving an open and inviting area for lounging and socializing. - Description: In excellent condition, this boat rigs in minutes, sails in all conditions, and can be sailed single handed. With roomy aft and center cockpits it holds a crew of 4 or more plus gear. With retractable leeboards and rudder it maneuvers well in shallow water (2.5 ft draft with boards down, 6 inch draft with boards up), AND, can even sail onto the beach! At only 700 pounds it can sail in very light wind, and is easily towed by a compact car. With unlimited reefing and tanks for water ballast it also sails safely in heavy winds and seas. The unstayed cat-ketch rig means no stays to wrestle with when rigging, and also provides for safe and effortless wing on wing down wind sailing. The convertible cabin transforms the boat from roomy daysailer into an overnighter. Can be launched from a beach as well as a ramp.
