Dufour 21 description- Rigging: Ketch - 380g/m2 : 26m2 mainsail, 10,5m2 mizzen, 13m2 staysail, 43m2 furling genoa Profurl (new bearing end 2010), 6m2 stormjib. Mainsail and genoa still making the job but new ones should be considered for offshore sailing.

- The result is a slim, fair underbody, with low wetted surface. In profile, the 37 looks as long and sleek as a lot of 40: footers. The secret, as it turns out, is that the boat gradually stretched out during the design process until its final overall length was almost 39ft. This is, of course, an excellent way to improve the looks of almost any yacht. The C&C 37 /40 looks sweet from every angle, with a nice sheerline, plenty of bow overhang and a sleek, unobtrusive cabin.

- The main cabin has a full wrap: around dinette (starboard) that converts to a double berth with a 7ft long settee / berth (port). The forward stateroom sleeps two comfortably, has a hanging locker and chair. There is also a generously sized quarter berth just aft of the steering station.
- The U: shaped galley has a stove/oven, a large ice box and a sink with pressure hot / cold water. The decks comprise a foredeck incorporating an anchor winch and roller, a raised trunk cabin with foc's'le escape hatch and side decks leading to the cockpit. The cockpit consists of port and stern lazarette hatches and steering pedestal.

- Description: This is a once in a lifetime chance to own a custom order, rare, Dufour 21. The Dufour is a beautiful boat with classic lines and a modern hull and keel shape. The boat was custom ordered by a couple who planned to cruise her up and down the east coast. The boat was then stored in doors and only ever used a hand full of times. The sails are in perfect condition and all appear to have never been used. The Dufour features a separated head in the bow, a fold down galley, a table that hides below the cockpit when not in use and a navigation table on the starboard side. The teak/holly floor really accentuates the boats full wood interior. The boat was built with a fiberglass headliner/hull-liner so there is no carpet or vinyl to fall down or need replacing. The hull and deck are in great condition and really show the time, thought and money put into this boat by Dufour. Things like the solid machined stainless bow fitting to the extra beefy stainless rigging prove that this boat means business. Whether sailing in light winds with the 0 drifter genoa or in higher winds with the reef-able 0 the boats bulb keel will keep her dry and stable. While the boat comes rigged for a spinnaker she has never been used. The main can be left on the mast while at the mooring or slip and the mooring cover/boom tent keep her protected and make her a joy to overnight on. Please call me with any questions or offers. - Equipment: I'll let the pictures do the talking. The entire boat is rigged with the finest parts and hardware of the time. The parts may look older but don't let that fool you. Everything is in perfect working order and was most likely never really used. This boat is ready to sail and has never seen salt water (although that is what she was intended for).
