  • The deck layout is very clean and is a benefit of the simple design. The T: shaped cockpit is very large and is separated by the main sheet traveler and is within reach of the helm. The helm is a 42 inch Edson wheel which was offered as a factory option.
  • There are two cabins on the J105. The forward V: berth is 7' long and will accommodate two. The headroom is 5'5" in the main saloon. The manual head is to port and has a wash basin with manual hand pump for freshwater. There is a hanging locker to starboard. The galley is to port and the chart table to starboard. Settees on both port and starboard side will sleep two. The storage lockers are located behind the backrests of the settees. The cabin sole is constructed from Teak and Holly. A 20 square inch hatch is located in the forward berth area.

  • Description: Trailer sailboat with swing keel, water ballast for easy hauling. This boat is in excellent condition and has many upgrades such as new bottom paint (2016), all woodwork sanded and coated with 2 part polyurethane (2016)new tiller arm (2014), Lowrance chartplotter (2014), and new centerboard uphaul line(2015). This is a great boat to learn how to sail, very easy to singlehand with the features I have added. the sails are in excellent condition and have always been stored indoors during the winter months. The boat has been stored indoors for the last 2 years and is in overall excellent condition, no blisters or other hull issues.

  • This layout includes everything you want and need in a 30' sailboat: a spacious main selon with dining table, an open galley with gimbled stove and oven and excellent head room.There is a forward cabin and a very large head with a separate shower stall. Interior walls and floors have been beautifully refinished.
  • OA: 30 ft. 4 in.
  • She has a comfortable interior for cruising. V-berth forward with filler followed by the head to port and hanging locker opposite. The main salon is very accommodating with U: shaped dinette to port and settee to starboard. Next is the navigation station and quarter berth to port with a large wrap galley to starboard. Center line companionway leads to a large cockpit with wheel steering. The cockpit has a nice table for dining and wide decks for excellent access forward. This vessel was a shell and now has every thing New, even the stainless Port windows. The interior wood work is completely refinished with mahogany wood. There is 6’2” headroom below. Since the original listing, the dodger windows have all been replaced, a new main sail has been purchased, (The original main sail is still OK) refrigeration has been added to the ice box, the water tanks have been cleaned and rebuilt with new hoses and valves, water filter has been added, new aluminum hatches have been purchased and are ready to install in the cabin top. Port and starboard lower stays have been replaced and the back stay has been checked 100%. Forestay new when the new Harken roller furler installed. All LED lighting.   • The hull is built from Meranti Hydrotek BS1088. The boat is a one-of-a: kind. I built this boat myself in my garage from various types of wood. Every piece is hand made and detailed. This is the smallest functional wooden pirate ship I am aware of. It sails quite well as I have done a little bit of sailing with it on Lake Mead and Lake Mohave. She is still clean and very freshly built.
  • This boat is an absolute head: turner. It may be small, but everybody will want to talk to you once you begin launching. Once you are under way, be ready for lots of other boats wanting to get a closer look.
