Hunter 28.5 description- A sound boat with plenty of space for a fun family sail. Boat is on a re: built trailer with new rubber. This model is similar to a Lido 14, but with a better hull/centerboard design…and is quicker to boot. All the rigging, both running and standing is in good shape, as are the sails. - The previous owner spent a year and a half sailing up the Caribbean chain of islands while he outfitted the sailboat for a trans: Atlantic crossing. He toured the Med and sailed back down to the Caribbean. This sailboat design is a proven model for this type of cruising. - •Reinforced stainless steel stern rail encloses the entire cockpit : From the aft stanchion forward to the boarding gate, there is a 7/8'' tube inside a 1'' tube for increased stiffness. This allows for mounting the bimini bows on the rail keeping them clear of the cockpit coaming.
- Gen X wind generator mounted on mizzen-: produced power when no other generator was turning in the harbor. Very light and has no real effect on righting arm.
