- This is a very rare offering in the united states. This is a Hunter: Legend 356 bilge keel model. The twin 'bilge keels' allow these boats to stand upright on their own bottoms in a falling tide. This hull design also has the benefit of making these boats very stiff.

- I re: designed the rig as a balanced lug on wooden spars with an aluminum mast. The sail was professionally made by Andy Soper of Kingston, Ontario, and has two sets of reefing points set up with jiffy reefing. She has a nice downhaul system specially designed to facilitate tensioning the rig and making adjustments from the helmsman's position while underway. Her centerboard is galvanized steel (weighs about 100 LBS), and is easily lifted with an attractive custom winch mounted on the case. Removable wooden outboard bracket which is mounted on the port quarter.

- This boat has been set up to sail offshore in comfort. This is NOT a dockside condo, and has been set up for short: handed sailing. The current owner is a knowledgeable sailor who has owned a number of boats, and he understands the importance of maintenance and upkeep. There is a complete SECOND engine and transmission in running order, as well as a third engine which may be used for parts! This boat is seen regularly sailing in the harbor, and everything is kept in excellent running order. The previous owner kept the boat in a low humidity area in Bonaire, under cover and on the hard when not in use. - Description: Com-Pac bought the license and changed the boat a bit, beginning production of the modern Com-Pac Sun Cats in 2000. I think they made both Daysailers and cabin Sun Cats from the beginning, but I know the Daysailers have been in production since before 2004,
