Pearson 39 description- Built from 1986 until the close of Pearson Yachts in 1991, the Pearson 39-2 is considered Bill Shaw’s finest design. A performance: oriented cruiser, the MKII rig has a slightly taller mast and more ballast than her predecessor, providing superb handling characteristics under both sail and power. The keel/centerboard option is ideal for the shallow waters of the East Coast and Bahamas, yet provides great pointing and stability with the board down. The cockpit is large and ergonomically engineered for exceptional comfort and safety.
