• Shannon hand: built only 55 Shannon 28s, beginning in 1978 until they retired the model in 1986. Cutter rigged with a cutaway forefoot, internally ballasted fixed keel, our offering has tiller steering, a skeg hung rudder and a keel stepped mast. The interior joiner work is impressive and comprised of teak and mahogany throughout. The hull sides and interiors of the cabinetry are all lined in wood. The cabin sole is solid wood with inlaid ribbons, not just marine plywood as you see in most boats. All of these little details are expensive to do, but represent a level of quality not found every day.
