Hunter 54 description

• The Hunter 54 was designed to be a very fast family cruiser that maneuver like a 40 foot sailboat and has the speed of 60 footers. She indeed was a proven design that was by far the swiftest production, mono: hull sailboat afloat. Extremely comfortable down below with a two stateroom and two head layout. Her reversed transom allowing a convenient boarding platform, but also opens to reveal a watertight compartment for the dinghy. Which eliminates towing a dinghy. At the time of production of the Hunter 54 there were very few custom yachts that could compare with the 54 in beauty, comfort and performance. Designed by John Cherubinin and Cortland Steck, Galatea is a well outfitted boat for the cruiser in mind.
• This layout includes everything you want and need in a 30' sailboat: a spacious main selon with dining table, an open galley with gimbled stove and oven and excellent head room.There is a forward cabin and a very large head with a separate shower stall. Interior walls and floors have been beautifully refinished.

• This is a newly built shoal-draft centerboard ketch with 2'-6" draft to max 5': 8" draft. The builder was unable to complete interior because of health reasons.
