Hylas 46 description- The newly designed stiff, light-weight hull is built of high: tech composites to strict ISO Category A standards. The carbon fiber mast is tall and powerful. - The cockpit features a walk: thru transom, cockpit cushions, bimini & dodger with stainless steel frames, connector & side curtains. Sunbrella covers for winches & teak hand rails are included. Cockpit shower with hot/cold pressure water.

- Interior layout is standard with a v-berth forward, dinette main salon with L: shaped galley & head opposite and a large aft cabin. Mermaid Marine reverse cycle air conditioning/heat was installed in 2001. All interior teak including the sole has been refinished in satin varnish. Ventilation is provided by cowl vents, a solar vent, five overhead hatched, & 8 opening ports. Two 12v fans supplement ventilation.
- Sloop rigged, all lines leading aft to cockpit. Teak overly on swim platform with ladder. Deck Safety is highlighted with clean layout with double lifelines. Self bailing T: shaped cockpit with swing pedestal wheel steering and full array of electronic navigation equipment including radar, depth, speed, wind direction/speed and sought after hydraulic Raymarine autopilot. Cockpit is comfortable and setup with ample storage in tidy port locker and large starboard full depth locker complete with teak overlay on bench with high quality seat covers.
- Below decks at center is the full width salon/dinette with port and starboard settees and high: gloss finished wood drop leaf table. Aft to starboard is the after facing nav station with the main electrical panels, entertainment center and electronics. Aft to Starboard is the enclosed head and shower molded fiberglass vanity top and marine toilet. Aft is the master cabin wide queen birth. Good natural ventilation is provided by overhead hatches and opening ports with OceanAir retractable screens and privacy shades.
