• Description: Silvergirl is a classic Bill Lapworth design that was launched in 1976 and is perfect for long weekends in Catalina or on an extended cruise. This second owner has done many upgrades to the boat including a total rewire of all electrical including a new electrical panel, new inverter/charger, new LED interior lighting and batteries. In 2008 the mast and standing rigging were overhauled and compliment an efficient 838 sq. ft. sail plan that features a Doyle Stakpac mainsail and a new roller furling 130% genoa that were added in 2015 which makes shorthanded sailing a breeze. The Perkins diesel engine was extensively rebuilt in 2009 and currently shows approximately 449 hours. Silvergirl is set up for cruising and could be the perfect liveaboard with the addition of some nice interior touches.
