Laser 3000 description

• New cushions and covers, new paint in and out, masts recently re: stepped. 4 head sails, main and mizzen all in good to new shape. Extra rigging, stay cables and blocks. The ropes are only 2 years old. Teak decks, cedar strip plank hull, teak stanchions, oak ribs. Very nice lines, classic look.
• Faired and templated keel. VC: 17 bottom paint. Been in fresh water for most of it's life. Hull #4. Serious offers will be considered.

• Description: Very fast boat! The Laser 3000, was designed by famed Australian racing skiff designer Frank Bethwait. This is a two person racing dinghy with a large asymmetrical spinniker and a trapeze for the crew. Like new Hyde sails; mylar main, asymmetrical spinnaker. This boat has been garage stored its whole life. Rigging and blocks have all been upgraded. Proctor mast and boom in excellent condition. I purchased from Vanguard in 2004. They imported the boat from the UK, and used it as a prototype for building a possible 49er trainer. Eventually it’s influence showed up in the Bahia/ Vago. This is a very stiff hull and a very clean boat.
• Equipment: Graphite tiller extension, Ronstan blocks, upgraded straps, upgraded sheets. Includes Trail-X trailer, 2 boat covers (summer/ winter), magic marine trapeze harness, upgraded rudder, titanium guides and pins and many other bits and pieces.
