- The Kite is an 11' 7" cat: rigged sailing dinghy (class inactive) designed circa 1962 by Carter Pyle as an Olympic Finn class trainer. Like that era's Finns, the Kite's mast is flexible, unstayed Sitka spruce and spruce boom.
- Very comfortable cruising boat. Sails easily. With furling sails, can be single: handed. All lines lead aft for easy trimming. Large cockpit with cushions. Large sun shade. Below folding table, bookshelves, fishing rod holders. Forward bunk has custom mattress.

- General remarks: The yacht is an excellent sailor, a comfortable roomy family boat, also perfect for chartering. Solidly built and well kept. Sails 1992 and in very good condition.

- Description: The Ensign is 22 and 1/2 feet long, weighs about 3,000 pounds, has a draft of 3 feet (0.91 m) and is best raced with a crew of four. It has no life lines and therefore can be sailed with many dingy tactics such as hiking and roll tacking. It is a comfortable day sailer with a large cockpit. The small two-berth cuddy can be used for close-coast and harbor overnights.
