Pearson P30 description

  • The Chinook 34 is a classic well: constructed blue water sailboat. It was the first production fiberglass sailboat. Only 70 were made between 1958 and 1968 by Cascade Yachts in Oregon. With sleek lines and a shallow draft this is the ultimate bay boat!
  • Priced to sell. Fantastic weekend / day sailor. Great condition. 8 year old sails: main and 130% genoa on Harkin roller furler. Well maintained Atomic 4 engine (hours unknown). Airconditioning. All lines to cockpit. Garmin and Ray Marine electronics. Sleeps 3 comfortable, 4 easily possible. Cool box and twin burner (current owner never used, do not know if works). Cushions, table, etc all in great condition. Very comfortable, speedy and perfect for the Chesapeake Bay. Had for 7 years, only upgrading because family is growing.
  • She has a comfortable interior for cruising. V-berth forward with filler followed by the head to port and hanging locker opposite. The main salon is very accommodating with U: shaped dinette to port and settee to starboard. Next is the navigation station and quarter berth to port with a large wrap galley to starboard. Center line companionway leads to a large cockpit with wheel steering. The cockpit has a nice table for dining and wide decks for excellent access forward. This vessel was a shell and now has every thing New, even the Port windows. The interior wood work is completely refinished with mahogany wood. There is 6’2” headroom below and she has minimal free board
