Pearson Sailboat 35 - Description: 1994 Hobie 16 for sale. Comes with trailer, full rigging (including white jib sail), and sail storage. Trailer in good condition. Here is why the boat is so pricey- since it is an older model (20 years old), some work had to be done on it. The hulls were filled in with epoxy professionally to restrengthen the integrity of the tops of the fiberglass hulls. Boat then professionally painted- any distortions in the paint coat due to imperfections of the hull- none of which affect sailing. Very bottoms of the hulls also reinforced professionally (now 1.5x original thickness) due to beachings. Sail taken care of wonderfully and seen by seamstress. Sail # 784. Boat originally from Ohio. Only been sailed in fresh water. All metallic lines and stays in great condition. Boat is sold as is. Don't call if not serious. Phenomenal boat for a first timer or a professional racer. Owner will not be around to help explain, so research questions and when looking feel free to examine with the utmost scrutiny.

- In late 2010 the entire fiberglass exterior was Awl: Grip painted.The Ford/Lehman 85 HP diesel engine was removed and rebuilt,and has only 283 hours. Fuel capacity is 75 gal. The bottom was professionally painted in 2012 with Micron CSC and running gear with Trulix 33.They replaced the cutless bering,anodes,zinc's.There were no blisters.The bottom was last cleaned,scrapped and zinc's replaced in February 2016
