S2 10.3 description- A: frame version (dismountable)
- at 814-39: 71403. Boat is in Erie, Pennsylvania. Masthead Sloop that has only seen fresh water. She is a well equipped racer/cruiser and is in cradle and ready to launch in Lake Erie. 11 foot beam with full fin keel which drafts 6 feet. We are moving up to a larger boat and want her to go to a good home. Equipment NavTec solid rod rigging, North Sails jib and roller furling, dacron main and jib plus an asymmetrical spinnaker with sock. Lewmar winches, reaching strut, wheel steering, emergency tiller, Datamarine instruments,Yanmar 3GMF diesel, Marinco eel power cords and custom steel cradle.

- The SPINDRIFT 46 was built by Formosa Yachts using the same molds that built the FORMOSA 46. (1980: 1984). R. Hillier, of Brisbane Australia, oversaw the building of this yacht which was to be sold in the US for Bristol yachts of Newport Beach CA. For the Australian market, they were called the HILLIER/PETERSON 46. Hillier ran afoul of designer Doug Peterson who filed a law suit. Hillier died and the suit was shelved.
