  • Description: Crafted in the main tradition, this vessel combines the comfort of cruising with the capability of race winning performance. Sabre sailing yachts are not wet race boats, nor are they heavy displacement “tanks”. They are comfortable, fast and fun to sail. Forward cabin has two 6'4” vee berth with a filler cushion to form a double. Starboard berth converts to wide 6’4” double berth. Vessel sleeps a total of 6. Walk-in galley has gimbaled stove with oven. Stainless steel sink and insolated ice box. There is a chart table to port with 2 additional berths. The head has marine toilet, counter with sink foot pump and hand held shower. Being a later boat in this model this vessel has received refinements including the Westerbeke 27 4 cylinder engine. Draft is 3’11” with centerboard up. This vessel is equipped with a Garmin 4210 GPS maps and a Garmin 550 sonar transducer.   • The Mason 43 is truly a bluewater boat : is very sturdy and well built. The woodwork on and inside the boat is magnificent. The mainsail is mast mounted furling and the genoa is furlex roller furling so the boat is easy to sail. She is a great liveaboard. I have been living on the boat in the Bahamas over the last four winters.
  • Cuddy cabin with two side berths in main cabin and v-berth in bow. Shoal draft keel drafts 1': 11". (This model does not have a swing keel). Evinrude 9.9 hp outboard. Trailers well. Very stable boat. Stability and draft make this a good package for beginning sailors or old salts.
